BRWD Team Helps Remove 600 Pounds of Trash from Adams Pond
Caring for our watershed means caring for the land around it.
As part of BRWD’s ongoing stewardship efforts, members of our team recently spent the day collecting litter along the shoreline of Adams Pond, removing more than 600 pounds of trash from the watershed.
This annual cleanup helps protect local wildlife, improve the health of the surrounding environment, and reduce the amount of debris that can make its way into the water. Every bag of trash removed is another step toward keeping one of our community’s drinking water sources clean and healthy.
We’re grateful to the dedicated BRWD employees and volunteers who gave their time and energy to this year’s cleanup. Their hard work reflects the commitment our team shares to protecting the natural resources our communities depend on every day.
