What are the start up and shutoff dates for seasonal water service?
The Boothbay Region Water District seasonal water start up date is guaranteed by May 1st each year. The shutoff date will happen after October 1st — usually on the third Thursday of October. You may visit our Seasonal Water Service page to view the most up-to-date status for your region.
What is the deadline to notify you that I no longer want seasonal water service?
Seasonal customers not wanting water service need to notify our office before July 1st. Upon notification and provided no usage has taken place, the meter will be removed, and the bill reversed. Seasonal customers that DO NOT notify us before July 1st will be responsible for all water charges, including the minimum charge.
How will I know when water will be turned on for my street/region?
We will be updating our Seasonal Water Service chart as we progress through the spring start up season. Check back daily to see the latest updates.
